Mr. Jae Ho KWON is a partner at D&A LLC. His practice is primarily focused on Criminal & Compliance, Criminal Defense Litigation, Risk Advisory, Internal Investigations & Digital Forensics, Antitrust & Competition, Compliance, and Corporate Governance & Shareholder Disputes.
Before joining our law firm, Mr. Kwon completed his term as Deputy Departmental Chief Prosecutor at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office. During his tenure in the prosecution service, he was involved in high-profile investigations and trials across various fields, including anti-corruption, finance, and election-related cases. His extensive experience in handling significant legal matters has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of complex legal issues. He was also named a Certified Specialist Prosecutor in the field of warrants. In addition, he worked in the Sexual Violence Department where he handled numerous cases involving crimes against women and children.
As a lawyer, he has extensive experience handling complex and sensitive cases, including responding to investigations by investigative agencies such as raids, forensics, and investigations for global companies and major domestic companies. His expertise also includes advising and litigating compliance issues, shareholder disputes, internal corporate investigations, responding to regulatory agency investigations, such as the Korea Communications Commission, handling white-collar crimes such as trade secret infringements and violations of the Financial Investment Services and Capital Markets Act, and addressing sexual crime cases involving high-profile individuals. In recognition of his practical experience, he was invited to serve as a lecturer for the Korean Bar Association’s special training program in Criminal Law. He has delivered lectures to numerous attorneys on “Practical Strategies for Responding to Search and Seizure,” focusing on recent case law and effective strategies for dealing with investigative authorities and navigating criminal proceedings.
