As the first-ever Korean law firm to issue specialized legislative journals, DR & AJU LLC has been publishing the monthly Policy & Business (P&B) Report since August 2019. The P&B Report provides analyses of plenary sessions of the National Assembly, as well as standing committee and subcommittee meetings. In addition, the firm has been co-hosting the Future Leaders Forum with the Herald Business, inviting chairpersons of standing committees to discuss relevant legislative issues and tasks.
As an extension of this service, DR & AJU has also been issuing the Weekly Legislative Report, which covers various legal issues at the center of public debate along with editorials and columns on the Serious Accidents Punishment Act (“SAPA”) from major daily news outlets. ① Partial Amendment to the Act on the Management of Public Institutions
This Amendment requires the evaluation criteria for the management performance of public enterprises and quasi-governmental institutions to include compliance with the installation of rest facilities for workers prescribed by the Presidential Decree, such as street cleaners and security guards, and adhere to the management standards for such facilities.
② Partial Amendment to the Broadcasting Act
This Amendment requires broadcasting agencies to integrate content on the protection and promotion of cultural diversity to reinforce their public responsibility for ensuring cultural diversity throughout the broadcast production and review process.

③ Act on Artificial Intelligence Industry Promotion and Trust Securement
This Bill establishes grounds for promoting the artificial intelligence (AI) industry while mitigating the associated risks, such as by proposing the formation of an AI committee under the jurisdiction of the Prime Minister.

④ Enforcement Rule of the Act on the Safety Control of Hazardous Substances
This Bill introduces a provision for special cases to alleviate equipment standards for general handling places that handle hazardous substances for manufacturing semiconductors and secondary batteries, considering the unique characteristics of their manufacturing process.

⑤ Partial Amendment to the Enforcement Decree of the Microfinance Support Act
This Amendment temporarily raises the common rates of financial companies' contribution to policy-based microfinancing by 0.005-0.015%p, depending on the industry.
