As the first-ever Korean law firm to issue specialized legislative journals, DR & AJU LLC has been publishing the monthly Policy & Business (P&B) Report since August 2019. The P&B Report provides analyses of plenary sessions of the National Assembly, as well as standing committee and subcommittee meetings. In addition, the firm has been co-hosting the Future Leaders Forum with the Herald Business, inviting chairpersons of standing committees to discuss relevant legislative issues and tasks.
As an extension of this service, DR & AJU has also been issuing the Weekly Legislative Report, which covers various legal issues at the center of public debate along with editorials and columns on the Serious Accidents Punishment Act (“SAPA”) from major daily news outlets. ① Partial Amendment to the Construction Technology Promotion Act
This Amendment reinforces the liability of the Korea Land & Housing Corporation by making the currently optional appropriateness examination for quality management a mandatory requirement and mandating the storage of relevant documentation for ten years after the completion of a construction project.
② Act on Special Measures for Promoting Carbon Neutrality of SMEs
This Bill requires the creation of a promotion plan to foster carbon neutrality among SMEs every five years, as well as the formation of a committee on carbon neutrality among SMEs responsible for deliberating and resolving significant matters.

③ Partial Amendment to the Telecommunications Business Act
This Amendment prohibits value-added telecommunications business operators above a certain size who deliver services utilizing an internet network from using network connections without paying a fair cost in consideration of the required network structure and traffic generation.

④ Insurance Business Act
This Bill requires insurance companies to establish and operate a computerized system for indemnity health insurance claims and mandates medical treatment agencies, including hospitals, to transfer documents electronically to insurance companies upon the request of policyholders.

⑤ Partial Amendment to the Enforcement Decree of the Occupational Safety and Health Act
This Amendment prolongs the training program for fostering construction safety officers from the end of this year to 2025 and allows individuals with at least five years of experience in non-construction fields to be appointed a safety officer for SMEs if they complete this training program.
