D&A Awards SAPA Compliance Certification (SCC) to CJ CheilJedang’s Partner Companies

D&A LLC awarded the Serious Accidents Prevention Act (SAPA) Compliance Certification (SCC) to partner companies of CJ CheilJedang’s Jincheon Plant, contributing to CJ CheilJedang’s efforts to foster a “shared safety culture ecosystem” that extends beyond its own operations to encompass the safety of employees of its partner companies.

This certification is significant in that it provides an objective assessment of whether the safety management systems established by the partner companies are operating adequately at the worksite, while laying the foundation for continuous improvement of any deficiencies. This is expected to enhance the actual level of safety management beyond mere compliance with legal obligations.

Going forward, CJ CheilJedang plans to share successful safety management practices and know-how with other partner companies, strengthen safety and health standards across its supply chain, and gradually expand the scope of partner companies eligible for the certification support program.
