D&A LLC operated an interactive promotional booth at the inaugural 2025 Korea Legal Expo Seoul (LES 2025), held from December 3 to 5 at the aT Center in Seocho-gu, Seoul. At the booth, we introduced visitors to D&A’s key specialized units, including the Search and Seizure Support Center, the U.S. Strategic Policy Division, and the Serious Accidents Practice Group, while offering free legal consultations. 

Managing Partner Kyu Chul LEE attended the opening as a VIP and participated in the ceremonial ribbon-cutting. On the opening day, the event featured a keynote address by Lance A. Etcheverry, partner at the global law firm Skadden Arps, followed by a special seminar delivered by former Minister of SMEs and Startups Young-sun Park on the theme of “The Three Leading AI Nations,” in which she presented the role of legal professionals in the AI era and outlined policy responses. 

On December 5, D&A Partner Sung Jin KIM, Head of the Strategic Planning Division, delivered a lecture on “U.S. Market Entry Strategies for Korean Companies and the Role of Law Firms.” During the lecture, he proposed practical approaches for Korean companies to enter the U.S. market, stating, “Don’t limit your efforts to Korea, engage directly on the ground in Washington, D.C.”
 

Meanwhile, D&A’s U.S. Strategic Policy Division supports companies seeking to enter the U.S. market. The Division was established based on an exclusive partnership with CNQ Group, a U.S.-based advisory and consulting firm, to assist companies requiring cooperation with entities such as the White House and the U.S. Congress. Key members include former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, former Under Secretary of State for Management Brian Bulatao, and former U.S. State Department Legal Adviser Marik String. The Division also oversees D&A Advisory, a subsidiary of D&A headquartered in Washington, D.C.
