On September 30, D&A signed an MOU on partnership for serious accident response and HR and labor management. 

The signing ceremony was attended by Managing Partner Kyu Chul LEE, Partner Dong Eon CHA, and Senior Advisor Choong Ryeol JEON from D&A, along with Chairman Jong Wook HONG and other executives from the Korea Fisheries Infrastructure Public Agency (FIPA). Through this agreement, FIPA plans to strengthen its safety and health management responsibilities, enhance its safety and health management system, and lay a foundation for proactively managing legal risks. 

Based on mutual trust, both organizations have agreed to jointly undertake the following initiatives: (i) conduct regular assessments and consulting on FIPA’s safety and health management system; (ii) obtain and maintain Serious Accidents Punishment Act (SAPA) Compliance Certification (SCC); (iii) provide up-to-date information and trends on the SAPA, Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), and other relevant laws; (iv) jointly respond and provide legal advice and litigation support in the event of serious accidents; and (v) co-host legal training sessions and seminars to enhance safety and health awareness among employees. 

Through this agreement, both parties are expected to further strengthen their expertise in safety-related legal matters, including serious accidents.
