Mr. Dae Hae YOON has joined DR & AJU as a partner in the Defense Industry Team.

Mr. YOON held several key positions within the Republic of Korea Air Force and the Ministry of National Defense for 21 years, including as Departmental Chief Judge of the Military Court and Chief of the National Defense Legal Affairs Team. He also provided legal representation and advisory services in defense industry matters for three years at the legal litigation division of the Defense Acquisition Program Administration. Most recently, he served as in-house counsel at Korea Aerospace Industry, Ltd. (KAI), one of Korea’s top four defense companies, for two years.

Mr. YOON has developed deep expertise in the defense industry through his experience at the Defense Acquisition Program Administration, a leading defense company, and the defense industry team of a law firm. Drawing on this background, he authored a book titled Understanding Public Contracts Through Case Law, which provides insights into public procurement based on legal precedents.

At DR & AJU, Mr. YOON will provide litigation and legal advisory services across a broad range of defense industry matters. His practice will encompass the Military Court Act and national defense-related cases, public contracts, as well as civil, criminal, and administrative litigation.
