On October 21st, DR & AJU launched the “Immigration and Nationality Services Center,” dedicated to providing specialized legal support in immigration and nationality matters.
 

DR & AJU Immigration and Nationality Services Center provides comprehensive legal services related to immigration, residency, and nationality.

The main services include inspections and litigation for immigration offenses, litigation related to entry and departure bans, appeal and litigation services for denied residency status changes or extensions, permanent residency application reviews, and review and litigation regarding the acquisition or renunciation of nationality.

The Center is led by Managing Partner Woo Hyeon KIM, former Director General of the Korea Immigration Service at the Ministry of Justice and Chief Prosecutor at the Suwon High Prosecutors’ Office. With his extensive expertise, Mr. Kim will oversee immigration and nationality cases, playing a pivotal role in addressing complex and high-profile issues.

Partner Byung Jae SHIN, formerly a legislative researcher at the National Assembly Legislation and Judiciary Committee and a prosecutor in various prosecutors’ offices nationwide, will handle criminal cases involving administrative disputes and Immigration Act violations.

Furthermore, Partner Jin Hyuk CHUNG and Foreign Attorney Dongmei PIAO, both experts in international matters, will provide advisory services and comprehensive solutions related to immigration and international investment for foreign-invested entities or foreign nationals residing in Korea.

In addition, Senior Advisor Sang Dal Lee, who served as the Director at the Seoul Southern Immigration & Foreign Affairs Office, is expected to provide relevant advisory services based on his 31 years of experience as a public immigration official.
