On 29 June, DR & AJU’s Partner Yeon Bok JUNG was appointed as the Ombudsman Commissioner of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation.
Serving as the Ombudsman Commissioner, a two-year non-standing member, Mr. Jung is expected to recommend improvements and monitor the overall system of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation, including monitoring, civil petitions, consumer protection, and the appropriateness of contract handling, from an independent and objective third party’s perspective.
Mr. Jung stated, “I will do my best to review various projects from a third party’s perspective and recommend improvements, considering changes in the legal and policy environment for the development of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation.
