On March 3, DR & AJU held an invitational lecture titled “Overview of ChatGPT and Generative AI, Its Impact, and Utilization Prospects in the Legal Industry” at the DR & AJU’s conference room for in-house counsels, executives, and employees.
This marks the first time a major domestic law firm has held a lecture on ChatGPT.
Amidst the global attention given to ChatGPT, which was developed by OpenAI, a company based in the U.S., the lecture aimed to explore its impact and potential uses within legal circles and the legal tech industries.
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Jeong-soo Kang, a renowned artificial intelligence expert who previously served as the head of the Digital Communication Center at the Office of the President from 2019 to 2021. Mr. Kang also served as the director of the Institute for the Digital Society and as an adjunct professor at Yonsei University’s School of Business.
