DR & AJU Certifies the First Company Implementing “SAPA Compliance Certification”
On February 16, DR & AJU (Managing Partner Kyu Chul LEE) awarded Bando Cranes Co., Ltd. (Representative Director Hyun Kyu Kang), a crane assembly and installation company, with a SAPA Compliance Certification.
This marks the first time a major domestic law firm has certified a company in compliance with the Serious Accident Punishment Act (SAPA).
From December of last year until recently, Bando Cranes Co., Ltd. underwent document inspections, on-site assessments, and security inspections. As a result, the company has confirmed that it properly implements the provision "Duties of Business Owners and Responsible Managing Officers to Secure Safety and Health" under Article 4 of the SAPA.
Managing Partner Kyu Chul LEE stated that "The SAPA Compliance Certification is the first systematic inspection introduced by a law firm to prevent industrial accidents and establish a safety and health management system," and requested that “as the first certified company, we hope Bando Cranes Co., Ltd. will closely manage safety and health in the workplace and be at the forefront of preventing industrial accidents.
