DR & AJU successfully represented a project implementer (PFV) in a lawsuit arising from the termination of a project management service contract for an urban development project.
The case was filed by a project management contractor, a participant in the consortium of private business operators, alleging wrongful termination and seeking payment of unpaid service fees and damages equivalent to projected performance gains.
Representing the project implementer, we conducted a comprehensive analysis of the parties’ business and service relationships, which had been formed from the stage of the public offering for private project participants. Based on this analysis, we successfully persuaded the court of the lawfulness of the termination. We also demonstrated that no unpaid service fees existed, ultimately securing a favorable decision for our client.
By resolving a legal dispute involving the termination of a contract with an investor-contractor in a jointly implemented urban development project at an early stage, we contributed to the stable progress of the client’s project.
