DR & AJU Global Energy and Infrastructure Practice Group acted as the sell-side advisor to Chujin Co., Ltd., a Korean company, and successfully concluded a deal with the Korean subsidiary of Equinor, a Norwegian state-run integrated energy company on the acquisition of a 100% stake in an offshore wind project.
Chujin Co., Ltd.’s offshore wind power project is operated about 10-20 km from Chuja Island, Jeju, and 40 km from Jeollanam-do. This project is designed to create a bottom-fixed wind power generation complex at a water depth of 40-70 km with a maximum 1.5-gigawatt capacity.
Ms. Melissa PARK (qualified in New York and Australia), the head of DR & AJU’s Global Energy and Infrastructure Practice Group, was a key contributor to the project’s success. She oversaw this project from its initial development stage to the stake sale, drawing on her extensive expertise and experience in offshore wind development projects cumulated from her time at prominent international advisory firms to advise the sale.
