DR & AJU Clarifies Scope of Public Facilities for Client in Asset Vesting Case Without Compensation

In this case, the client faced an unfavorable decision in the first trial, where the court ruled that the land purchased from the State should be vested in the country without compensation, as it was considered a former public facility. DR & AJU successfully overturned this decision on appeal by demonstrating that the land did not constitute a public facility by presenting various documents and materials, including geographical maps created during the Japanese Colonial era’s land investigation project and closure land registration maps relevant to each parcel involved in this case.
