Mr. Nak Hyun CHOI is a labor consultant at DR & AJU LLC. His practice is primarily focused on Labor & Employment, Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG), and Serious Accident.
Mr. Choi provides consulting service on various labor-related matters, including corporate advisory on personnel management and labor-management relations, human resource consulting on wage and job design, peak wage system, long working hours improvement, and personnel regulations revision. He also represents various labor cases, including unfair dismissal, industrial accident compensation, filing a petition to the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and guidance inspection on social insurance in the construction industry. For 15 years, Mr. Choi was in charge of human resources at various corporations and labor corporations, and is currently a public interest committee member at the Seoul Regional National Labor Relations Commission. He successfully carried out cases concerning determination of essential business of Korea Airports Corporation, Korea Portal Logistics Agency, etc., and cases concerning mediation of industrial disputes of various public institutions, university hospitals, and corporations, including Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation, KBS N Co., Ltd, and Eulji Medical Center.
Provided legal advice to a number of construction companies, including Samsung C&T Corporation, Samsung Engineering, POSCO E&C, SK E&C, Hyundai Development Company, Doosan E&C and Daelim, and represented the above companies in investigations by the Ministry of Employment and Labor
Represented a number of companies, including Samsung Securities, KEB Hana Bank, MBK Partners, Dongbu Corporation, SK E&C and SK Telecom, in cases involving application for remedy with respect to unfair dismissal and unfair disciplinary action
Conducted inspection of legality of contracts and dispatch of Emart, Nonghyup Logis, SK Networks, Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance and KAIST, and took in charge of consultation for improvement
Acted as the consultant for Korea Labor Foundation’s win-win labor-management, improvement on long working hours and job design on the basis of wages programs
Took in charge of cases involving making decisions for tasks required to be maintained for Korea Airports Corporation Services, Korea Postal Logistics Agency and etc.
Took in charge of cases involving application for mediation of labor disputes for KBSN, Dongduk Women’s University, Seoul Energy Corporation, Eulji Medical Center, LG U+, City Airport Logis & Travel Korea and etc.
