1. Recruitment Outline
Job Description:
Provide support to attorneys on a wide range of corporate, banking, commercial transactions, and energy/infrastructure projects
Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, due diligence reports, and proofreading, including translation from Korean to English and vice versa
Conduct legal research and monitor legal volumes, law publications, and law library updates
Conduct administrative duties related to inbound/outbound establishment of a local entity
Assist lawyers in preparing legal services proposals
Translate contracts, decisions, and written opinions on a wide range of cases in energy/infrastructure, finance, corporate,
compliance monitoring, personnel and labor, M&A, dispute resolution, etc. from Korean to English and vice versa
Conduct research on various jurisdictions related to specific cases
Carry out tasks related to the establishment of inbound/outbound corporations, closure of branches, registration of directors, etc.
Conduct research and draft reports on the legal market
Assist the attorney with additional tasks as required
Job Requirements:
At least 2-3 years of experience as a paralegal or in translating legal and commercial documents
Professional verbal and written communication skills in Korean and English
Proficiency in office programs such as Hangeul and MS Office Suite
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Ability to multitask with excellent attention to detail
Advanced organizational skills
Willingness to learn and adapt to a new environment
